HTML Editors: Adobe dreamweaver is an industry standard, commercial application among web designers. It has rich features and it easily integrates with other popular products such as Photoshop and Illustrator. Other good graphic editors are Nvu and PageBreeze.

Drawing and Image Editing: Pen/Pencil drawing programs are important. GIMP is powerful software for image composition, photo retouching and image authoring. It is designed to be augmented with plug-ins and extensions to do just about anything. Photoshop is a great graphic editor but is paid one.
